Our first album. Up until this point, I had only been involved with writing punk songs and this was sort of an experiment to see if I could get away from that. After the Fairlanes (my previous band) stopped touring, I wrote a bunch of songs (basically) as a way to come to terms with the fact that a major era era was over. My goal was to record a non-punk album and do one tour of Europe. My old pals at Wynona Records, based out of Genova released it and booked the tour. Towards the end of writing the record, I asked Bill if he wanted to play bass on the record, which was really the start of "the absinthe glow". The record is not too representative of where we are now, but there are a few good tracks on there, and it certainly shows where my head was at the time.
